Pets Facts is a pet information website for people who want a straight answer without wading through noise. We write about everyday pet care, feeding and nutrition, grooming, behaviour and general health awareness for dogs, cats and other companion animals.
Why This Site Exists
Most pet questions are small, urgent and practical. How much should a puppy eat at four months? Is this itch normal? Why has the cat stopped using the litter tray? The answers exist, but they are usually buried in either a sales page or a research paper. We sit in the middle: accurate enough to trust, plain enough to use tonight.
What We Cover
- Pet Care: daily routines, grooming, safety at home, life-stage care and behaviour.
- Pet Food & Nutrition: portion sizes, ingredients, feeding schedules, treats and common diet mistakes.
- General pet health awareness: recognising normal from not normal, preventive care, and knowing when a situation belongs with a veterinarian rather than a website.
How We Work
Every guide starts from a real question, is researched against veterinary schools, animal welfare organisations and published studies, and is checked before it goes live. We show published and updated dates so you can see how current a page is, and we revise guidance when the evidence moves. The full process is set out in our Editorial Policy.
We are a small independent publisher, not a veterinary practice. We do not diagnose, prescribe or treat. What we publish is general information written to help you have better conversations with your own vet, never to replace them. If something is urgent, please call a veterinary professional first and read second.
Who Is Behind Pets Facts
The site is published and edited by Prashant Sharma, who researches, writes and maintains the guides here. Where a topic needs clinical judgement, we cite the professional sources we relied on instead of pretending to expertise we do not have.
